Chicago Bears Injury Update: Nagy “cautiously optimistic” that Trubiksy will play

This Chicago Bears were back at practice today in preparation for Sunday’s game against the New Orleans Saints and there was some good news from Halas Hall.

Starting quarterback Mitchell Trubisky was back on the field again, and head coach Matt Nagy said he was “cautiously optimistic” that his QB1 would be able to play on Sunday. He also said that backup QB Chase Daniel would receive plenty of reps this week, just in case.

Trubisky said he’s close to 100%, but he will wear a protective harness on his left shoulder.
