LAKE FOREST, Ill. -- Two-time Super Bowl champion Ben Roethlisberger isn’t easily impressed by young quarterbacks, but he does have a high opinion of Chicago Bears No. 2 overall draft pick Mitchell Trubisky.
Roethlisberger’s agents, who also represent Trubisky, arranged for the quarterbacks to work out together in California prior to the 2017 NFL draft.
“I thought he was a tremendous athlete,” Roethlisberger said Wednesday on a conference call with Chicago media ahead of Sunday's game between the Bears and Pittsburgh Steelers. “I thought he could throw the ball.
