Knicks' Evan Fournier out for 'personal reasons' vs. Hornets

As the Knicks make a late push for the playoffs, they’ll be without one of their starters tonight.

The team announced Evan Fournier will not play Wednesday night’s game against the Charlotte Hornets at MSG for “personal reasons."

After an uneven start to the season, Fournier has turned it on for the Knicks especially after the All-Star break. In his first season with the team, Fournier is averaging 14 points-per-game and shooting 39 percent from three.

Fournier has only missed two games this season, but his absence Wednesday comes at a crucial time for the team.
