The NBA’s hiatus continues to remain active, as the league awaits news from the health department. However, the Charlotte Hornets have continued to find ways to help those in the community.
On Monday, the Charlotte Hornets Foundation announced that they would assist with local relief efforts. In these efforts, the Hornets plan to support the community financially, by volunteering, and with food donations.
With the committed financial assistance, the Hornets plan to donate $250,000 for relief efforts in the community; this contribution will go toward the COVID-19 Response Fund, which is administered by various charitable organizations.
