If you’re a Charlotte Hornets fan, then you’ve probably had a whirlwind of emotions throughout the entire summer.

From some draft surprises, to being the favorites to re-sign Kemba Walker and eventually losing him for nothing, and to an underwhelming free agency period, the Hornets have arguably had the worst off-season of any team in the NBA, but it might be for the best.

With failure comes success, and the hope is that the Charlotte Hornets can move on from this dark period and put together a competitive roster down the line.

The Hornets finished the 2018-19 season with a 39-43 record and just two games out of the eighth and final playoff seed in the Eastern Conference.
