And we’re back! After a decisive 5-1 win over the Ottawa Senators at home on Thursday, the Flames are on the road again to visit the Vancouver Canucks. The Flames are riding high right now, having picked up wins in four of their last five games, clinched their playoff spot earlier this week, and continue to pull away with the division. They’re four points up on San Jose, and their magic number to clinch the first position in the West is at an extremely manageable 5.5. They’re picking up some steam and playing some good hockey, of late, with their offense clicking again (they’ve scored four or more goals in four of their last five games, and totaled 24 over that span), pulling themselves well out of that slump of just a few weeks ago.
