It took them four tries, but the Calgary Flames finally won an exhibition game last night with their win over the Arizona Coyotes. They came out strong and remained as the stronger competitor for the majority of the game.
The line that impressed the most? The Johnny Gaudreau–Sam Bennett– Micheal Ferland line. They were on fire basically every shift. Gaudreau had two goals last night and Bennett had three assists. While Ferly didn’t have any points, he was still a factor on the ice.
Wow, it’s almost as if Sam Bennett is actually a good player or something… It seems like he actually plays well when he plays with good teammates.
