Milton Doyle had another big game for Long Island Monday night, as the young Nets won their 10th game, beating the Texas Legends, the Mavericks affiliate, 124-112, at Nassau Coliseum.
Doyle led the way for Long Island with a team-high 28 points, four rebounds and three assists in 32 minutes. Half of Doyle’s points came in the final seven minutes of the game to lead the home team to victory. He shot .714 (5-of-7) from the field and 1.000 (3-of-3) from long range in the fourth quarter alone when Long Island had 38-30 advantage.
