Box Score (PDF) ANN ARBOR, Mich. – The Bowling Green State University baseball team was defeated by the University of Michigan by a score of 10-5 on Wednesday (April 17) evening. The ballgame was played at UM's Wilpon Complex. A near two-hour delay took place during the bottom of the seventh inning, as both teams waited out a lightning delay.
Michigan, which just dropped out of the top 25 this week, is now 25-11 on the season with the victory. With the loss, Bowling Green sits at 12-20.
The Wolverines scored five runs in the sixth and three runs in the seventh to completely change the outlook of the ballgame.
