Bowling Green women lose eighth straight game

BOWLING GREEN — Another Mid-American Conference game yielded another tight game with no payoff at the end for the Bowling Green women’s basketball team.

The Falcons led after three quarters, but fell 62-56 to Buffalo on Saturday at the Stroh Center for their eighth consecutive loss.

With the defeat, Bowling Green fell to 8-18 overall and 1-13 in the MAC. The Falcons have lost seven MAC games by seven or fewer points, including three in overtime.

Madisen Parker scored 14 points to pace the Falcons on Saturday, and Parker’s made jumper just past the five-minute mark of the fourth quarter tied the game at 54.
