BG women suffer lopsided home loss to Buffalo

BOWLING GREEN — The Bowling Green State University women’s basketball team suffered an 88-67 loss to Buffalo in a Mid-American Conference contest played at the Stroh Center Wednesday.

While the Falcons (10-16, 2-13 MAC) had 12 different players score, the lone BG player to reach double figures was Oak Harbor High School grad Andrea Cecil. Cecil finished with 10 points as the Falcons lost their ninth straight game.

Cassie Oursler posted a double-double with 20 points and 12 rebounds to lead Buffalo (22-4, 13-2 MAC), which clinched an outright MAC East Division title with the win. Summer Hemphill scored 12 points, Katherine Ups had 11 and Cierra Dillard 10 for the Bulls.
