Rafael Devers Agrees To 11-Year, $331 Million Extension (2024-34)

One day after the Red Sox and Rafael Devers avoided arbitration by agreeing to a $17.5 million contract for 2023 comes the wonderful news that the Boston third baseman will also be agreeing to a massive 11-year, $331 million extension. Devers will soon report to camp in preparation for his seventh major league season. He will be only 26 years old for all of the 2023 campaign.

Devers's deal will take him through the 2034 season; he will turn 38 in October 2034. Devers is the 13th player to sign a contract worth $300+ million.
