Mike Yaz: Homer in Fenway debut 'super special'

BOSTON -- Tuesday night, San Francisco Giants outfielder Mike Yastrzemski accomplished something his Hall of Fame grandfather never accomplished.

He got the crowd at Fenway Park to give a standing ovation after a home run by an opposing player.

In his first game at the ballpark his grandfather called home for 23 years, Yastrzemski homered in the top of the fourth inning of Tuesday's game against the Boston Red Sox in a moment that couldn't have been scripted better. "Being able to do that in front of friends and family was super special," Yastrzemski said after the game.
