Last week, while most New England sports media and fans were in all-Super Bowl, all-the-time mode, ESPN and MLB.TV announced the parameters of a new partnership that makes the network its streaming home.

Turns out it’s not the simplest deal to parse, and several readers reached out to ask what exactly they have to do to get MLB.TV for the upcoming season.

Hopefully they found the necessary answers and weren’t too annoyed by the quirks and perhaps unexpected costs built into the deal.
