Women Place Second in Team Race National Championship

PROVIDENCE -- The Eagles placed second in the Women's Team Race National Championship over the weekend, winning 12 of 16 races to secure the second podium spot, and falling by just one race to the eventual champions Yale. In the first round robin, the Eagles won eight of eleven races, securing their spot in the top six round robin, where they went 4-1, dropping their only race in the final round to Yale.

Stanford also won 12 of 16 races over the weekend, but the Eagles' 2-0 record over Stanford gave them the tiebreaker, earning them second place.
