CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – This weekend's Boston College softball series at Virginia Tech has been postponed after Virginia Tech temporarily paused all team activities. The decision was made due to a positive test, subsequent quarantining and contact tracing within the Virginia Tech softball program.
Instead of the weekend trip to Blacksburg, BC is set to host Maine in a closed scrimmage.
The Eagles are scheduled to open their 2021 home schedule Saturday, March 6 vs. UMass. First pitch is scheduled for 1 p.m. from Harrington Athletics Village.
At the current time, all games at Harrington Athletics Village are closed to the public.
