WAKEFIELD, Mass. – Six members of the Boston College women's hockey team have been named to the 2017-18 Women's Hockey East All-Academic Team, as announced by the league on Thursday, July 12.
Each student-athlete achieved a grade point average of 3.0 or better in each of the two academic periods during which she was actively competing.
Gabri Switaj was named a Distinguished Scholar for having qualified for the All-Academic team in each of her four seasons of varsity play. Switaj, who graduated in May as a marketing and operations management double major, was one of nine student-athletes across the league to earn the Distinguished Scholar accolade.
