NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Boston College lacrosse slated a 13-9 victory over Yale Tuesday afternoon for the longest win streak in program history.
A low-scoring first half sent BC (11-0, 2-0) into half time with a one-goal deficit. After the Bulldogs (6-3, 2-0) netted the first goal of the second frame, the Eagles sprang into action. A natural hat trick from junior Sam Apuzzo took the final lead for the Eagles, which they did not relinquish.
In this 11th straight win, Apuzzo and junior Dempsey Arsenault registered five points apiece after the Eagles posted a 10-point second half.
