DURHAM, N.C. – Boston College freshman outfielder Chris Galland (Sudbury, Mass.) has been named to the All-ACC Third Team as voted on by the league's coaches and announced on Monday afternoon. Galland, who set the BC single-season record for stolen bases, was also honored as an ACC All-Freshman Team pick.
At the conclusion of the regular season, Galland led the Eagles with 28 stolen bases to rank second in the ACC and 17th in the nation. He was caught stealing for the first time in his collegiate career on April 17 to break up a perfect 20-for-20 start to the season.
