LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The 10th-ranked Louisville men's soccer team used a four-goal second half to claim a 4-0 ACC win over Boston College on Friday night at Lynn Field.

After the teams played a scoreless first half, the Cardinals scored less than two minutes into the second half, and added and pushed the score to 2-0 20 minutes later in the 67th minute. U of L tacked on two more goals in less than seven minutes to round out the scoring. Louisville forward Tate Schmitt finished with two goals and one assist.

BC held the advantage heading into the break, out-shooting the Cardinals 6-3, maintaining the advantage in possession and forcing U of L keeper Jake Gelnovatch into a sliding, back-foot save on a prime Simon Enstrom change in the 31st minute.
