Boston College Women’s Basketball Falls to Undefeated Golden Gophers

Yesterday, the Boston College women’s basketball team fell to the Minnesota Golden Gophers by a score of 78-68. The Eagles were without Georgia Pineau, one of their better players, for the game. Considering the fact that Minnesota previously averaged 99 points per game, this was a better outcome than most expected for BC... but a loss is still a loss.

The Eagles were led by freshmen Mimi Bolden-Morris and Sydney Lowery, both of whom show a lot of promise. Lowery led the team with 19 points and Bolden-Morris added 14, including a trio of 3s. Katie Quandt, who recieved a rare start yesterday, led BC in rebounds with 8.
