Thomas Robinson signs in Russia, Gerald Green to Milwaukee

Two more candidates for the Celtics’ final roster spot have signed with other teams. Former Celtic Gerald Green signed a training camp deal with the Milwaukee Bucks, and Thomas Robinson agreed to a deal to play for Khimiki Moscow in Russia.

Gerald Green averaged 5.6 points per game in 47 appearances last season for the Celtics, but came up big in the first round of the playoffs when Boston went small to counter Chicago’s size advantage. He will now compete for a roster spot with the Bucks against former teammate James Young.
