It is fantastic news for Boston Celtics fans everywhere that Kemba Walker and Marcus Smart are now the captains of Team USA alongside Donovan Mitchell. With that said, there could be a tremendous amount of downside if things go awry for the U.S. National Team.
This year’s squad is…underwhelming. While it is obviously an ideal situation for Celtics fans to see their guys (Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown included as well) it is a little unnerving to know that this team lost in a scrimmage to a team made up of G-League talent and NBA castaways.
