At the age of 42, Zdeno Chara has twice been retained by the Boston Bruins preventing any sort of free agency scenario. By the end of this coming season, he’ll be a 43 year-old; with the ice-time he sees, only Jaromir Jagr compares at the same elite level at that sort of age.
