Baltimore Ravens resigning Robert Griffin III is genius

With the Baltimore Ravens officially moved on from quarterback Joe Flacco, it was imperative that the team find a suitable backup quarterback option for Lamar Jackson. With Jackson still getting his feet wet at the NFL level and needing guidance, it had to be at the top of Baltimore’s off-season to-do list. Thankfully, the team was able to bring back Robert Griffin III.

RGIII returns to Charm City on a two-year contract to be the team’s primary backup and return as Jackson’s mentor. Considering how slim the pickings are for both the remaining Free Agency class and the quarterback crop for the 2019 NFL Draft, the Ravens made the best business move available by resigning Robert Griffin III.
