BALTIMORE -- Former Oriole Mike Mussina will get another try at Cooperstown, as the righty was among those listed on this year's Hall of Fame ballot, unveiled on Monday afternoon.
This marks Mussina's fifth year on the ballot. He appeared on 51.8 percent of the ballots cast by the Baseball Writers' Association of America in 2017 -- an improvement over 43 percent in '16, but still not enough to surpass the required 75 percent.
Mussina pitched 18 seasons, the first 10 with the Orioles. He won 270 games in his career and tossed 3,562 2/3 innings, striking out 7.
