MUNCIE, Ind. - Four Cardinals scored in double figures, as Ball State (22-4, 10-4 MAC) took down Western Michigan (14-12, 7-7 MAC) by a score of 85-58 Wednesday night in Worthen Arena.
For the second-straight contest junior guard Jasmin Samz led all Cardinals with 17 points. Senior forward Destiny Washington collected her eighth career double-double with 13 points and 11 rebounds. Both senior forward Moriah Monaco and junior guard Nakeya Penny each added 10 points to the victory.
The Cardinals boasted a stout defensive performance in tonight's contest holding the Broncos to 35.
