MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. - - The Ball State women's volleyball team showed tremendous poise late in the final two sets and it payed off in the form of a 3-0 (25-18, 33-31, 26-24) sweep at Mid-American Conference rival Central Michigan Saturday evening inside McQuirk Arena.
With the win, the Cardinals (10-5; 2-0 MAC) improve to 2-0 in league play for the third straight season. They are also one of only three undefeated MAC programs after the league's opening weekend. The other two; MAC West Division rival Western Michigan and next Saturday's opponent Buffalo out of the MAC East Division.
