MUNCIE, Ind. – The Mid-American Conference announced this week's Swimmer of the Week late Thursday night and a Ball State Cardinal won the honor.
Freshman Sophie Bader took this week's co-swimmer of the week along with Eastern Michigan's Sierra Wagner.
Bader is currently tied for ninth in the conference in the 100 butterfly (56.87) and seventh in the conference in the 200 butterfly (2:05.25). She also leads the team in both of those events.
Last weekend, Bader had impressive performances against Bowling Green and Tiffin. Against Bowling Green, she took first in the 100 butterfly and 200 butterfly.
