Ryan Kerrigan thankful to keep playing at a high level for Redskins

MUNCIE, Ind. — Ryan Kerrigan has every right to be proud of the career he's put together so far, but he doesn't look at it that way. He's thankful to have the ability to play. And to play at a high level every Sunday.

Sunday’s game against the Saints was the 106th straight game that Kerrigan has started. That’s the longest active streak among NFL linebackers. The Central grad has started every game of his career since the Washington Redskins selected him No. 16 overall out of Purdue in the 2011 draft.

Kerrigan became the first member of the Redskins since the 1970 merger to open his career with 100 straight starts.
