NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Both senior forward Moriah Monaco and junior guard Carmen Grande posted an all-around performance to lead Ball State to an 88-79 win over SEC foe Vanderbilt Monday afternoon in Memorial Gym.
With the win, Ball State improves to 4-0 for the first time since 2006-07 while Vanderbilt falls to 0-4 this season. Sixth year head coach Brady Sallee has now beaten three schools in the Power 5 conference; Minnesota (54-51), Iowa (77-72) and Vanderbilt (88-79).
Monaco finished with 26 points and went 5-of-9 from behind the arc.
