Ball State’s Sean Sellers has worked through the hard times (including a near transfer) for this 3-point record

MUNCIE, Ind. — Sean Sellers can laugh now back at his first basketball memory. He was but a few years old and his dad was coaching JV girls basketball at Greensburg High School.

The sweet-shooting Ball State senior had the same problem as nearly every young hooper: He couldn’t dribble with his left hand.

"So my dad made me put on one of those visors where I couldn’t look down at the basketball," Sellers recalled. "I got mad at him and was crying."

There have certainly been more ups than downs for Sellers, who will likely become Ball State’s all-time leader in 3-pointers on Friday night when Ball State welcomes Western Michigan for Senior Night.
