Auburn returns to the Plains with a needed win after routing Missouri 51-14 on the road in its SEC opener Saturday night.
Here are five takeaways from Auburn’s easy win.
The offense took a step forward
The offense looked clean, sharp and in a much better form than it has all season. Quarterback Jarrett Stidham led the offense with 218 yards through the air Saturday, and also operated with no turnovers while the offense was under his leadership. While Missouri’s defense hasn’t consistently stopped anyone this season, Auburn needed a night to execute efficiently against an opponent this season.
