In Auburn’s 78-61 win over Georgia, the Tigers were efficient and steady. Normally Auburn is a flashy team and even though the Tigers knocked down 11 shots from behind the arc, Auburn’s offense was not the highlight reel type scoring barrage that we’ve seen this season.
Auburn’s highlights from their 10th SEC win of the season said a lot about what this team in accomplishing. A 17-point road win without their leading scorer, Bryce Brown, is no small accomplishment. The Tigers shot 50 percent from the floor and outrebounded the Bulldogs.
There weren’t exciting dunks or ridiculous off-balanced shots, but there were solid plays that do a good job documenting how Auburn took care of business again Georgia.
