Hawks to hire Michelle Leftwich to front office role, per report

Marc Stein of the New York Times reports that the Atlanta Hawks are expected to hire former league attorney Michelle Leftwich to the role of Vice President of Salary Cap Administration.

The Hawks are hiring Michelle Leftwich away from the NBA to join Atlanta's front office as a VP in basketball ops, @NYTSports has learned

Leftwich was hired by the NBA in 1996 as an attorney to assist in the handling of legal issues for the league. She is best known for her role in the 2014 case against Donald Sterling for racist comments made by the former Los Angeles Clippers owner.
