Their destiny is in their own hands now. The Atlanta Falcons are currently the No. 6 seed in the NFC and would play the Los Angeles Rams on the road if the season were to end today. There’s still three weeks left to play, but it’s a huge step for a team that’s had a lot of highs and lows throughout a crazy 2017 season.
Things were nearly much worse for Atlanta as they truly didn’t play well on Thursday Night Football in Week 14. They still managed to pull of a 20-17 win as linebacker Deion Jones saved the day by intercepting a Drew Brees pass in the end zone as they knocked off the New Orleans Saints.
