The Daily Chop: MLBPA submits another proposal, Draft pick signings and more

The MLBPA made another proposal to Major League Baseball for a 2020 season that included 70-regular season games. While that has reportedly drawn outrage from some owners, it appears that there is a workable solution. The league’s last offer was for 60 games which would make a 65-game regular season the sweet spot. While these negotiations have shown that nothing should be taken for granted, we do feel much closer to a deal now than we did earlier in the week. Let’s hope that they can get it done because time is starting to become a factor.
