There is no doubt the Atlanta Braves would like to have Josh Donaldson back, but they could be in competition with a number of teams for his services.
While the Braves certainly benefitted from his great 2019 season in which he hit 37 home runs and drove in 94 runs while accruing a WAR of over six in the process, it will make it more difficult for the home team to sign him this offseason.
And beyond, Donaldson was amazing defensively at third base erasing any questions or concerns about his injury history.
