Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang 'demands three-year deal and wages of around £250,000-a-week to sign a new deal and stay at Arsenal'

Arsenal captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is reportedly demanding a three year contract and wages of around £250,000-a-week to stay at the club.

Aubameyang has less than a year remaining on his current contract, and head coach Mikel Arteta this week expressed hope that the 31-year-old will stay at the club.

However, as reported by ESPN, Aubameyang is in a significant position of power regarding contract negotiations given the impact that he has made since joining Arsenal from Borussia Dortmund in 2018.

The striker also reportedly wants a three-year deal if he is to remain at the Emirates Stadium

Aubameyang hit a brace in Arsenal's victory over Norwich this week and has scored 22 goals in 36 games across all competitions this season.
