Per Mertesacker has paid a visit to our mental health football programme at The Arsenal Hub - home of Arsenal in the Community.
Per, who worked in a mental health hospital as a young man, chatted to our coaches and participants and took part in the session.
The Arsenal in the Community run project provides individuals tackling mental health issues with a safe and supportive place to come and play football. Participants have also had the chance to play groups from other clubs, and to attend matches at Emirates Stadium in recent months.
Our community coach Luke Howard said: "We work to offer a safe and positive environment for local people who have a diagnosed mental health condition.
