Jordan Nobbs scored her 50th goal for the club as we beat Liverpool 3-0 at Meadow Park on Tuesday night.
We started the game on the front foot, with Dominique Janssen trying her luck from 25 yards, before Danielle Van de Donk’s chipped ball over the defence fell just short of Katie McCabe.
Emma Mitchell’s volley from Nobbs’ corner then sailed over the bar, before Beth Mead carved open a wonderful opportunity. The 22-year old beat her marker on the right wing and cut in on her left foot, working a brilliant low save from Siobhan Chamberlain.
