Trailing 2-1 entering the bottom of the sixth inning, Georgia State rattled off the game's final four runs as it defeated Arkansas State on Friday afternoon at the GSU Baseball Complex in Atlanta.
Nick Garagozzo picked up two of the seven hits for Georgia State (12-11, 1-3 Sun Belt Conference) in the win. A two-run double hit by Cole Griffith in the bottom of the eighth set the final score.
Michael Caruso (2-2) earned the win after pitching two scoreless innings of relief, while Will Bartkoski secured his fourth save of the season after striking out two of the four batters he faced in the ninth.
