JONESBORO, Ark. (12/29/15) – Arkansas State’s Carlisa May has added another honor to her fantastic 2015 campaign after being named to the PrepVolleyball.com All-Freshman team as an honorable mention selection as announced by the online publication Tuesday.
May, a native of Lee’s Summit, Mo., has already won numerous awards for her excellent 2015 season including becoming only the second player in A-State history to earn American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) All-American honors with an honorable mention selection on Dec. 16. Additionally, she was named the AVCA Southwest Region Freshman of the Year and was the only freshman on the Southwest All-Region squad.
