JONESBORO, Ark. (12/8/15) – The Arkansas State volleyball team placed four players on the American Volleyball Coaches Association Southwest All-Region Team, while Carlisa May was named the region’s Freshman of the Year and head coach David Rehr earned the region’s Coach of the Year the AVCA announced Tuesday.
Markie Schaedig earned All-Region honors for the second consecutive season, while Mallory Warrington and May were first-time selections for the team. Darby Graff was recognized as an Honorable Mention All-Region selection. The four All-Region picks give Arkansas State a total of eight in school history.
