Reed’s goal broke a 0-0 stalemate and was setup by a fantastic run from Sarah Sodoma who chased down a long kick and drew the attention of the defense to near post before passing back to Reed at the top of the box who had a wide open look at the goal and buried the attempt.
The goal was the first of the season for the senior from Mexico, Mo., and it was the second assist of the year for Sodoma, who now leads the team with 12 points.
Little Rock had several chances to score on the Red Wolves (6-3-0, 2-1-0) throughout the afternoon and held a 20-7 advantage in shots, but had just a 7-4 edge in shots in goal.
