JONESBORO, Ark. (5/15/18) – Arkansas State belted four home runs, but it wasn’t enough as No. 4 Ole Miss scored multiple runs in five innings to defeat the Red Wolves 15-8 Tuesday night at Tomlinson Stadium.
Kyle MacDonald had a big night at the plate for A-State (18-30) going 2-for-5 with a pair of home runs and three RBIs. MacDonald hit his first blast of the night in the bottom of the sixth inning with a solo shot and then followed with a mammoth two-run blast to center field in the next inning.
MacDonald now leads the team with 13 home runs on the year, which is the most for an A-State player since Murray Watts also had 13 blasts in 2010.
