Jordan Howard scored 26 points to lead the University of Central Arkansas men's basketball team to a 73-64 victory over South Carolina State on Tuesday night in Orangeburg, S.C.
Howard made four of the Bears' seven three-pointers against the Bulldogs.
UCA (3-2), which has won two consecutive games since an overtime loss Nov. 15 at UCLA, shot 44.6 percent (25 of 56) from the floor. Darraja Parnell finished with 15 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals. Mathieu Kamba added nine points and five rebounds.

The Bears trailed 30-28 at halftime but used a 14-0 run to take a 51-40 lead with 9:11 remaining, with three-pointers from Howard and Parnell highlighting the spurt.
