ST. LOUIS, Mo. (4/10/18) – The third-ranked Arkansas State women’s bowling team departed Jonesboro at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday afternoon and arrived in St. Louis, Mo., around 5 p.m., as the Red Wolves are set to begin preparations for the NCAA Tournament.
A-State, who enters the tournament with an 87-34 record, drove straight from Jonesboro to the hotel, as they will have for a team dinner tonight before the start of Wednesday’s practice session.
A-State’s win over Stephen F. Austin in the 2018 Southland Bowling League Championship granted them an automatic bid into the NCAA Tournament. The squad also finished first place in the Warhawk Classic, as they never finished less then fifth place in any match this season.
