The Arkansas State women’s basketball team is set to participate in a postseason tournament for a second straight season starting Monday. A year after qualifying for the NCAA Tournament for the first time in program history, the Red Wolves will compete in the Women’s National Invitation Tournament for the first time since the 2015-16 season.
Arkansas State (24-9) earned a first-round bye in the 48-team tournament and will open play against Radford at 7 p.m. Monday in Jonesboro. The Highlanders are coming off a 77-58 home victory over Morehead State on Friday night to advance into the second round.
