A-State Women's Golf Tied for Fifth at Little Rock/A-State Invitational

MAUMELLE, Ark. (03/26/18) – The Arkansas State women’s golf team completed the opening two rounds of the Little Rock/A-State Invitational tied for fifth place among 10 teams Monday after carding a two-round 600 at the Maumelle Country Club.

The Red Wolves carded a first-round 311, which placed them in eighth place before improving to a tie for fifth place with Little Rock after finishing the second round with a 289, the team’s lowest single-round score of the season. A-State stands just two strokes behind fourth-place Northern Illinois and three behind third-place Houston Baptist.

A-State was led by two players finishing among the top-10 individual players in a field of 56 players, while another three players completed the two rounds among the top-25.
